Museum Run Report
This year's Museum Run went to the Forncett Industrial Steam Museum, the forecast for the day was heavy rain and strong winds. Despite the forecast 12 riders braved the elements, floods, debris and leaves on the back roads.
The route was through Wymondham, Attleborough and Diss ending up at the Forncett Industrial Steam Museum at Forncett St Mary. A number of riders did not complete the route with Nick having a puncture, Peter a misfire, and a couple of riders came off on the leaves.
On arriving at the Steam Museum the owner said that clothes could be dried out in the boiler room and that hot food and drinks were available in the Cafe.
After a warm up the riders had a look around the museum with at least 5 of the engines in steam.
Our thanks go to the museum staff for putting up with our wet gear and to Cynthia for organising the paperwork. Lets hope for better weather next year.
