Tibenham Glider Club 50th Anniversary Run
The Section had been invited to the Tibenham Glider Club's 50th Anniversary and it was decided that a morning run to the event would be a good idea. Nick put together a route of about 50miles from The Worlds End public house to Tibenham airfield. The route took in a number of small villages in the south of Norfolk.
10 riders and 2 passengers started the run on a very cloudy morning, the route taking us through Bridgham , Kenninghall and New Buckenham, finishing at Tibenham airfield. A number of members had gone straight to the airfield.
With bad weather forecast there was not a lot going on so most people left after lunch.
Unfortunately Mike's first outing with the Douglas ended up with no drive to the back wheel a short way into the run.
