Postwick Run
21 riders including 2 one day members together with 4 passengers signed on at Postwick Village Hall for the Run.
We were pleased to have our recent new member Andy Fenwick join us for his first Run with the Norwich Section riding his very nice Panther Model 100. Peter Bennett was riding a very nice Norton Jubilee and it was good to see Geoff Buckingham on a Run with his Velocette.
The weather was perfect and the route that was put together by Richard Greensides took us through Salhouse, Woodbastwick, Ranworth, Acle, Hemsby, Ormesby with the lunch stop at the Fox and Hounds at Filby. Jimmy Francis had trouble with the sparks on his BSA but the back-up truck was able to get him back home to enable him change machines.
The afternoon route took us through Runham, Stokesby, Acle, Reedham, Cantley with the Run finishing in Brundall where Margaret Durier had prepared a light buffet and refreshments.
