Pre 31 Run
The Pre 31 Run this year was well supported with 12 eligible machines for the Run around the North Norfolk roads. Paul & Thelma came from Essex and Bill came from Market Deeping, Janet helping Cynthia with the tea and coffee.

The Run was uneventful until Salthouse Heath where I came across a sorry looking Simon sitting next to his bike, it turned out that as he was negotiating a bend the back tyre had a blow out. We put the bike on the trailer and took him the last 5 miles to the lunch stop at the Kings Arms Blakeney.
At the lunch stop a spare tube was found, tyre levers appeared, and a foot pump. Four of us, after a short break, headed back to the Village Hall car park to repair the bike. After about 45 minutes the bike was off the trailer and ready to go.
The return route ran through the villages of Briston and Swannington before heading back to Frettenham As it was the 4th July apple pie and cream welcomed the riders plus cakes and drinks.
The award for the highest combined age went to Mike Henry witha total of 157 years.
Our thanks go to Cynthia & Janet for sorting out the refreshments and the riders for putting up with the hot weather.
