Founder's Memorial Relay Rally 2010
This year's Founders Relay Rally was held in Memory of VMCC Founder Titch Allen who passed away on the 18th March 2010.
The forecast for the day was poor for East Anglia with heavy rain predicted in the morning clearing by lunch time.
We expected a poor turn out but were surprised when arriving at the Thetford Check Pointto see there were three riders waiting to sign on.
We had a steady stream of riders coming through from Anglian, Kings Lynn, Peterborough, Essex and Ipswich, and by lunch time we had about 45 riders through.
After lunch the skies began to clear and a few more riders appeared for the last couple of hours.
Thanks go to the check point marshalls who kept the spot manned all day; these were Bob, Cynthia, Alan, Linda and Andrew.
