Spring Lamb Run
The annual Spring Lamb Run got off to a good start with 16 riders and 2 passengers starting the Run. There were a few spots of rain at the start and it was starting to warm up.
A couple of fields with spring lambs in were spotted on route.
One of the riders left cold weather clothing at the start, little did he know that the weather was about to change for the wetter and colder.
The back up trailer had got to Gresham when the phone rang and Jimmy had pulled out of the Run with a knackered ignition system; this had been playing up for a couple of weeks and was now terminal. He had a local friend pick him up.
A rather soggy bunch of riders and passengers greeted me at the Kings Arms Blakeney where all the wet gear was spread around the bar.

By one o'clock the the skies were beginning to clear and most people went for a walk along Blakeney Quay before setting off back to Frettenham.
The ride back was uneventful with the riders going past some pretty churches and banks of primroses along the route.
Our thanks go to Cynthia for organising teas and coffee at the start and finish and Nick and his staff for the good food at the Kings Arms.
