2012 Annual Dinner at Oaklands Hotel Norwich
There was a good turn out for the Norwich and District Annual Dinner at the Oaklands Hotel Norwich and 50 members, wives, girlfriends and friends together with our guest Wing Commander Ken Wallis MBE arrived at the hotel at 12.00.
The staff made us very welcome as we entered the large dining room and once everyone was seated each lady was presented with a single red rose as the dinner date was only three days away from Valentines Day, many of the ladies are waiting in anticipation for the other eleven.
The lunch menu was very good with three choices on all three courses. After a few words on behalf of the Committee Ken sold some of his DVD's "Born to Bond" with all contributions going to the Flixton Aviation Museum.
Our thanks go to the staff at the Oaklands Hotel , Tony and Cynthia for organising the dinner and for sourcing the roses.
