Description 

This run of approximately 66 miles ends at The Chequers Inn, Binham. Before returning to Algys, you may wish to visit Binham Priory a short walk or ride away.

The initial run westwards through North Elmham and Litcham to Gayton is mostly on good quiet B roads.  At Gayton the route heads north on good B roads to Bircham. Turning eastwards the route is on back roads, skirting Nelson’s birth place at Burnham Norton, the rear of the Holkham Estate and on to Binham.  

The start/finish point has ample parking. Algy’s Farm Shop café is open from 9.30 for tea, coffee and breakfast 

The Chequers Inn has a reserved area of the bar for VMCC. Food and drinks can be ordered on the day. Menu will be e mailed out in advance. Bike parking at the front of the pub.

Binham Priory was a Benedictine Priory. The surviving part is now the Parish Church and the monastic ruins are managed by English Heritage.  Entry is free.

Return route to Algys Farm Shop via Guist.

Entrants should be aware that there will be no 'back up' on this run.
