Description
This run of approximately 80 miles will visit the Bottisham Airfield Museum on mainly B class roads.The start/finish point has ample parking for cars and trailers.
The airfield will be having a classic car, military and motorcycle show from 10.30 to 16.00 and the run fee includes free entry to this event.
The site was originally prepared in 1940 as a satellite of RAF Waterbeach, Bottisham was built as a grass airfield and was initially used by the Cambridge based Tiger Moths of No.22 Elementary Flying Training School as a relief landing ground.
The museum is now fully functioning with modern facilities including a coffee shop and shop.
Entrants should be aware that there will be no 'back up' on this run.
