This run involves a gentle ride eastwards from the Officers Mess cafe at Old Buckenham airfield to the popular Flora Tea rooms at Dunwich beach using the quiet lane network of Norfolk & Suffolk. The route has been created to avoid using major roads, only involving crossing the three major A roads within the area. 

Both the start & finish points have ample parking. The parking at Dunwich Beach is primarily gravel & some areas slope, so choose your parking spot carefully..! 

The Officers Mess cafe at Old Buckenham is open from 9.00 for tea, coffee and breakfast/cake. The Flora tea rooms at Dunwich have a full menu from cakes to breakfast to fish & chips. The food is usually excellent, although as the cafe is popular, sometimes a short queue is necessary. Alternatively for something even more substantial the Ship public house in Dunwich is a short walk from the car park & is passed on the route.
